♠ supportive in inviting their friends along, “because they are proud of the facility and the staff who made it happen”
♠ Increase in ownership and respect – “looking after the property, resources, staff and one another”

The Impact on young people local to Montrose was instant, Our number of “Casual Users” (those who are not registered as members) rose within a short time of the improvements to the exterior. To the wider community–the work was a real talking point, Increase in interest from a range of outside groups / agencies
Alternative Friday Nights
As part of our Open Youth Club provision–Friday Nights are a little different because we include focused activities.
The Tea Time Club
The needs and demands of the young people ensure we as a project are kept on our toes on what; how and when we deliver this service to meet the needs of this age group.
Adventure Service Challenge We started running the Adventure Service Challenge (ASC) in 2006, as an achievement award for our younger members.
Most other National Award schemes, like the Duke of Edinburgh;, National Youth Achievement Awards are aimed at the 14 years plus age group and there are few which afford the younger age group this type of opportunity.
